Test process of Barcode reader:

1. Insert the scanner data cable and one end of the Registered jack into the interface at the bottom of the scanner. When you hear a "click" sound, pull it back again. If the cable does not slide out, it means it has already been plugged in. Insert the other end into the corresponding port on the computer (using the USB interface as an example), and the bottom right corner of the computer will prompt to automatically install a hardware driver. Wait for it to automatically install.

After the prompt in the bottom right corner of the computer is over, you can try pressing the scan button on the scanner. At this point, we open a software such as Notepad, Word document, or Excel table on the computer that can be inputted (as long as the cursor flashes), and turn off the input method (be sure to turn off the input method or switch to English mode). After pressing the button, the Barcode reader will send out a laser line (either a thick line or a thin line, depending on different technical methods). Align the laser line with the barcode for scanning, the scanner will send out a beep, and the barcode data will be sent to the computer text.

Note: You can find some beverage bottles and barcodes on the delivery slip for scanning. Do not scan the barcode on the manual, as this may cause the scanner to enter the set state and temporarily become unusable, or garbled characters may appear when entering the configuration. If you accidentally scan the setting code, resulting in incorrect scanning, you can only Factory reset.

When scanning, please note that the Barcode reader must have a certain tilt angle with the scanned object, so as to scan correctly. The light also needs to be parallel to the barcode. If the light crosses too much, it cannot be scanned, which is a characteristic of all barcodes. If the barcode data can be transmitted to the computer, it means that the Barcode reader is normal.
